  • Dr James Ibrahim

    Dr James Ibrahim is a GP and practice owner with a special interest in mental health and social prescribing. Having had a varied life experience ranging from an international cycling career to professional underwater game fishing photographer, James' medical career was destined to take an atypical form.

    In addition to working as practice principal in his general practice, he has worked as a specialist community mental health GP within a multidisciplinary youth mental health team and the “GPs in schools” program, an in-school wellbeing program for Yr 11 students.

    He has held representative roles in GP training organisations as well as public health advisory roles across mental health, alcohol and other drugs, and suicide prevention.

  • Dr Paul Fung

    Dr Paul Fung is a psychiatrist and academic with a special interest in primary care. He is a Clinical Director at Uniting NSW.ACT, a non-government organisation specialising in community mental health care, working across a range of programs developing and scaling innovative models of care in partnership with Primary Health Networks.

    He is passionate about policy and system reform working with the NSW Mental Health Commission as a member on the Community Advisory Council.

    As the Academic Lead (Psychiatry) and a member of the Academic Board at the Health Education Training Institute he has enjoys training the next generation of psychiatry registrars, GPs and allied health clinicians.

    Paul’s international collaborations include being a member of the Global Mental Health Think Tank and previously the Australian and New Zealand representative on the World Psychiatric Association Section of Early Career Psychiatrists. Paul is a 2020 Churchill Fellow.

  • Shanker Krishnan

    With a career building transformative first-to-market software technology and solutions for several industries including healthcare, Shanker is passionate about building innovative software solutions to solve real world problems.

    He was the Head of IT at Cornerstone health where he oversaw installation of IT infrastructure and applications for two new medical centres.

    Shanker was also Project Director at Healius (formerly Primary Health Care). He led the strategic program that built Helix, a new integrated Practice Management and Electronic Medical Records system. This cloud hosted solution was built for 74 Medical centres, servicing over 1400 doctors and allied health practitioners, and over 3000 practice and nursing staff. There was more than 8M patient visits per year. Helix won the AFR Business Model Innovation of the Year Award in 2018.
